Viewing User Profiles

User profiles display information about registered users. You can view any user's profile by clicking on their name anywhere you see it (such as the User List, the Who's Online page, a forum post list, on a post they made, etc.).

Each user can edit their own profile by going to their Control Panel and editing their basic profile and preferences.

At the top of the profile, you will see a few links:

• Send a Private Message — This allows you to send a Private Message to the user.
• Show All User's Posts — This link performs a search to show all posts made by this user.
• Add to Address Book — This link will add the user to your Address Book.

The details which may be shown on the User Profiles screen are as follows:

• The user's email address.

• The user's name.

• The user's gender.

• The user's title.

• The number of posts made by the user.

• The date/time that the user registered.

• The date/time that the user was last at the forums.

• The user's user number. (Represents the order in which users registered.)

• The user's home page URL.

• The user's occupation.

• The user's geographical location.

• The user's biography.

• The user's signature (the text that appears at the end of their posts).

• The user's hobbies.

• Various "favorites" of the user (BtVS episodes, movies, etc.).

• Various Instant Messenger contact info.

Please Note: Not all of the information may be filled in. It depends entirely upon the user as to how much information they want to provide.
