Your Address Book

Your address book serves two purposes: it's easier to send private messages to users in your address book, and users in your address book can be seen in the "Friends Online" section of your Control Panel.

There are a few ways to get to your address book:

1. Go to your Control Panel and click on "View / Edit Address Book."

2. Also in your Control Panel, you'll see "Friends Online (from Address Book)" — "Address Book" is a link to your address book.
   
   or
   
   
3. When you're sending a private message, you'll see options to "Add this user to your address book" and "Choose a name from your address book." In both cases, the phrase "address book" is a link to your address book.

1. When you view someone's profile, you can click the link to "Add to Address Book."

2. Go to your Control Panel and click on "View / Edit Address Book."
   • At the top, you'll see a text box labeled "Add a Username." Type in the desired Username (watch your spelling, etc. — it must be exact).
   • Click "Submit."

3. When you're sending a private message, you can add the recipient to your address book when the PM is sent:
   • Type the username into the first text box.
   • To the right, you'll see an option to "Add this user to your address book" — check the box to do so.
   • Type and send your PM as usual. The user will be added to your address book when the PM is sent.

1. Go to your address book (using one of the methods outlined above). Click the "Send a PM" link to the right of the username you wish to send a private message to.

2. When sending a private message, you can choose a name from your address book instead of typing in a name. Just choose a name from the drop-down list, and the PM will be sent to the user you selected.

2. Go to your Control Panel and choose "Send a Private Message." Choose a name from the drop-down list of your address book members, and click the "Delete from Address Book" button.
